Every Patient A Friend
Dr. Kolby T. Klingler, raised in Rexburg, Idaho, knows the value of a great smile. At just ten years old, he smashed his front teeth while jumping on a pogo stick. This accident, which led to many hours personally sitting in the dental chair, has given Dr. Kolby the ability to empathize with his patients.
Dr. Kolby’s compassion for helping others increased during his time working as a CNA in a Rigby nursing home, and continued to grow while serving a church mission in Independence, Missouri. He earned his Bachelors in Biological Sciences at Arizona State University, where he met his beautiful wife, Bethany. They now have two children. Dr. Kolby and his family love spending time together outdoors, especially now that they can call the great state of Idaho their home once again.
Dr. Kolby received his degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. Leading his class in clinical skills, he takes pride in his hand abilities to provide high quality treatment for each patient. The faculty at MUSC voted Dr. Kolby as the most competent and talented individual in his class for restorative dentistry, and he received the sole honorary award of “Excellence in Restorative Dentistry.”
Dr. Kolby and his family were drawn back to southeast Idaho because of their love for outdoor adventures, as well as a desire to be closer to family. Whether hiking, trail riding, snowboarding, or even just gardening, Dr. Kolby finds the picturesque landscape of Idaho to be a place of refuge.
Dr. Kolby is constantly seeking to expand and improve his clinical abilities by continuing his education. While attending dental school, he took additional courses and became one of the first 25 dental students in the country to receive a certificate of dental sleep medicine upon graduating. He looks forward to continually growing his skill set in a wide array of treatments to better serve his patients.
